Day trading options is a short term trade, which lasts only for a day long time period and providing the instantaneous trade results. Purchasing and expiration of the options contract are in the same market trading day or in the same trading session. It is largely used, by traders to speculate on an abrupt market move to achieve successful trades, during the high volatility period.

Scalp Strategy
It is amongst the most popular day trading strategies. In these strategy traders invest in 10 to hundreds of trades in the same trading session and gets out of it as soon as the price goes above the purchasing price or strike price for an option contract.
Fad Strategy
It is the strategy which dictates the trader to move in the opposite direction of a market move. This strategy involves relatively high risk but if a trader successfully identifies a trend in market, it would give significant pay out in short term.
Daily Pivots Strategy
This strategy is developed to take advantage of high and low signals of a market moves. In this options day trading, trader buys at the lowest levels of a session and sells at the highest level of a trading session. When a trader watches a sign of reversal from top point gets out of the trade with considerable profit.
Momentum Strategy
The breakout of positive news for a specific trading asset in a market creates a rally in the market. Momentum strategy is devised to cash the golden opportunity present in the market at this stage. The traders buy in the market with positive indicator and sell as soon as the bearish signs become visible in market.
