All or nothing options

It is a term used for fixed return options .In this trade payoff is either all or nothing which means that at expiration of this option you will receive a prefixed amount or you may lose all of your investment. All or nothing options give you returns only if you predict right.

During last few years all or nothing options have been adopted as a trading fashion. The investors have been trading all or nothing options over the years. As these were easy to trade and understand. The possibility of making high fixed profit attracted the traders. However luck and skills were necessary things to obtain the desired profit. In short term this goal can be achieved but long term all or nothing option trading can come up with losses as world economies are very sensitive to new economic developments. There are always fluctuations in the world economies and markets and option trading is a subject to these ups and downs.

These options are also termed as digital options, yes or not options, fixed return options or FROs. As their name suggests the payout for all or nothing options is fixed either at 60% to 85% or nothing at all. If an option expires out of money in this trading, investor not only loses the premium but he also has to pay a commission. If an option expires in money, whether you are right, you have to pay a commission. The all or nothing option buyers are charged high commission.

The all or nothing options are traded in European style.  Investor could not get out of this contract before the expiry time. The all or nothing options are standardized options. These are traded at Chicago Board of Options and this simple form of option trading is also provided to the retail investors, financial institutions and the big hedge fund by CBO.

The risks in all or nothing options trading are comparatively higher than binary option trading. These trading instruments are also offered by some binary option trading platforms but risks are the same.  The trading strategies for these options are also difficult than rival trading instruments. You have to come up with strong trading strategies to gain a high payout. This is the core issue behind becoming less popular in the markets and among the traders. Some investors have been reported facing problem in getting their returns. Due to these drawbacks binary option trading has erupted as a substitute to all or nothing options.
